Part of the Price List and Bill by Category Quick Win scenario for QuSheet

Summary

Since this scenario contains two sheets, the Sheet List tab can be used to generate both at the same time.

This sheet takes all of its information from the Workbook.

Fields “category” and “item” hold definitions for your categories and items. Note that all items are defined regardless of what category they appear in – the marrying up of item and category, even the same item appearing in different categories, happens in the Table “unit price” (items appearing in different categories are treated as different items – it’s up to you to price them the same and describe them the same if they are indeed the same).

Details for a particular item in a particular category to appear in the price list are given in the value area for the Table “details”. Not every item need have details provided – this is guarded by the last line in the table which provides text to be displayed by default.

The “purchase” Table value carries additional information about the purchase. The other fields which must be filled in are “category”, “item” and “quantity”. The “price” field can be hidden away (as indeed it is in the tutorial).
