Summary

Cells occur at any given row and column. The column determines what goes into a cell – with explanation presented in the Help pane.

When a cell contains a key item, selecting the cell presents a drop-down list allowing you to select the relevant key-item to use. Right-clicking or pressing F12 allows you to create a new key-item in-situ.

When a cell contains text, your first option is to simply type in what you want. A right-click or F12 brings up a pop-up list with extra options (clear the field, input a date, input a time, input with a dedicated text-box and, in some cases, input from a pre-defined list).

Colour coding for display table cells / rows varies according to the display table being shown. This is explained in the help pane, though colours may be changed from the Preferences / Colours tab.
