Headings - part 1

Summary

This tutorial returns to the roof tile example created as part of the Key Item Example tutorial and looks at Headings in more detail.

The Greeting Heading created some text output using formatted text operations. This Heading was placed in the Explanation part of the Sheet entry so that it is shown without the option for the user to expand into the details. Moving this Heading to the “Show” area (as shown in the tutorial) changes it to a Heading which can be expanded.

The Sheet entry line has both the Show area and Explanation area filled in with Headings – “total price” and “total price headline” - working in unison, the first providing an output which is not actually displayed, but providing the expansion into details when the user clicks on the chevrons in the output, the second providing a user-friendly output of the total price figure.

The “total price headline” Heading uses the “total price” Heading to get the actual figure.

E: “total price” *is* re-calculated each time it appears now, since styling includes calculation rounding parameters which will affect the result.
