The Op field group: displays the value of the operand for the operation.

Following the Pre-op total, Op and Post-op total field groups is a little padding area known as the post-pad. This contains a number of spaces defined in the sheet generation area but each styled independently to match any of the 5 field groups as required.

Styles control which groups are displayed. Heading entries only show Op and Explanation by default. Sheet Entries can only show these two, without indentation.

Indentation, by default, starts a line within a Heading at a point level with the Explanation field group of the parent Heading.

Indentation can take place because all field groups prior to Explanation are put out in a mono-spaced font, whereas the Explanation group uses a proportional font (more attractive, but useless for lining things up).

Field groups are controlled by Styles, each of which has groups (sub-tabs) of their own.

The “default” style group controls the display of the indentation area and acts as a default for all the other styles.

The “standard” style group is an extra group used to set parameters applying to the whole display line.

The four other style groups (Pre-op total, Op, Post-op total and Explanation) apply to their corresponging output field groups.

 « Summary

The Indentation field group: spaces only, starts the output in the right place

The Pre-op Total field group: displays a running total before the operation relating to this line takes place.

The Op field group: displays the value of the operand for the operation.

The Post-op Total field group: displays the running total *after* the operation.

The Explanation field group: displays the explanatory text
