| Summary |
The Standard style parameter set contains: a display selector, allowing the line to be omitted completely or placed entirely in the explanation area. |
A trace indicator, which causes the output line to include tracing information – this greatly adds to the time to generate a file and to the size of the final output. |
Two parameters relating to the operator: allowing the operator to be hidden or displayed using particular text. |
“Explanation Position” – a parameter to change the location of the explanatory text in the output. Setting this to anything except “at normal position” could result in some of the rest of the output not being shown. |
Two parameters to control whether additional information is put out in the explanatory text – the operand and any fields which are currently defined. |
E: “Parameters in explanation text” now reads “Fields in explanation text”. |
“Expansion” – to allow control of whether a heading supports expansion (i.e. allows a user to click on it to expand), and whether it starts expanded when a sheet is first opened. |
“Expansion Column Change” – which sets the indentation change on expansion. Normally set to 1, to indicate one change to the right, this can be changed to make certain headings expand further to the right or even back to the left. |
Two calculation rounding parameters, which specify the rounding which takes place when a calculation is made (not just for display). |
E: The two calculation rounding parameters now apply always, since calculations are always re-made when they are re-encountered, with different rounding as specified in their relevant styles. |
Parent, Child and New Base styles, as described in the Style Searching tutorial. |
Background and Foreground colours for odd and even lines, again as described in the Style Searching tutorial. |
A: The standard style tab has been re-designed a little to accomodate two new print-related parameters, one that controls whether a heading appears in either screen print or both, a second which allows you to control whether formatted text appears in screen, print or both. |
A: Two further additions: it is now possible to specify blank lines before or after the line being output, and it is also now possible to specfy a sort criteria based on the data being displayed (as opposed to previously when data sorting only happened with field selection). |
